I just received my Clanaran Hennessy Sweater, and it is absolutely perfect. The fit is just right, and the quality is superb. Wonderful job -- a work of art. These are the best Irish Fisherman sweaters anywhere, and I highly recommend them

I just finished reading a book about a woman who went to the Aran Island to research for her PH.D. studying fabrics and textiles...to learn about the history and background of Aran sweaters.
Imagine my delight when I realized that my brother had brought my father (deceased in February this year) not 1 but 2 Aran sweaters from a trip 2 years ago, and I have them! One I had dry cleaned in January, but the other still has the Certificate of Authenticity. I tried to find the patterns online to learn the clan name, but did not.
I shall treasure the sweaters even more now that I know the origin of them.
